Problem 1: PunkBuster kicks you after you shoot a player, or a player shoots you.
Cause: You require the PunkBuster Legacy Files.

Solution for CoD4:
1) First go to http://www.codutility.com and create a free account, so you can download files from there
2) Download PunkBuster Legacy files for CoD4: http://www.codutility.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4888
3) Overwrite your PB files with the ones downloaded in step 2.

Solution for CoD5:
1) First go to http://www.codutility.com and create a free account, so you can download files from there
2) Download PunkBuster Legacy files for CoD5: http://www.codutility.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4889
3) Overwrite your PB files with the ones downloaded in step 2.

Problem 2: You keep getting a PunkBuster message regarding PnkBstrA.
Cause: You have corrupt PnkBstrA service, or service not running.

Solution:
Download PunkBuster Service Installer from here: https://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe
Tick Un-install/Remove PunkBuster Service
Click Next
Tick Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service
Click Next
Click Test Services, to see if it's working properly.

Would you make this sticky please? Also you or someone with access upload them to the channel's file browser for each game? I tried to sign up with them, as I had just reinstalled Windows 10 but their CAPTCHA is broken so I'm not able to sign up.

I'll look into that to see if it's possible.

I recall at one time (many moons ago) we did that,
but ran into problems with people putting links and uploading
illegal copies of software to TS for download.

Also, malware and viruses. So I think we prohibited it.

Since it's posted (this) in a public forum, we want to avoid anyone
who doesn't play on our servers, to use this as their download.
I had my dropbox taken down once from how many people
were using it to download these files.

And my personal web host took them down because of the
bandwidth, and the amount of traffic downloading them.

I can't speak for anyone else but I am able and have put useful files up there in the past.

sorry never saw the e mail. might of went to junk mail . and I have a habit of deleting the junk mail with out looking at it.. Shawn got me sorted out. thanks for all the help.. It is working now.
