Teamspeak 3 has an option to speak the names of the players that join and leave a channel. Everyone has the option to turn on "Default Text to Speech" but I think it talks too much, saying the name of the channel every time something happens, etc.

I made a custom "Sound Pack" that cuts down on the speech. It lets you know when someone joins/leaves or when they are moved/kicked/banned but it does not say the channel name every time something happens. Sometimes it has a hard time with the names, but usually you can tell who it's talking about.

If you want to try it out, here's what you need to do:

Download this file and extract it to your TeamSpeak sound folder.

minimal.zip [1.43 KiB]
Downloaded 147 times

For me on Windows 7, I had to extract it to C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\sound

Then in Teamspeak, click "settings", "options", "notifications" and change the sound pack to "minimal"

Deadeye...
After I followed the directions, I checked and the file is in that created folder. However, when I look in TS3 in 'notifications' / configure / Sound pack choices... the 'minimum' folder I created is not there... :?

Not sure what the problem could be wallace. Maybe I'll catch you on teamspeak and we can talk about it.
