Ok this goes out to all you IT guys I have done the Windows 10 upgrade on my system and tried to play my games and it did fix an issue I was having with my Diablo 3 with the video freezing and I can still play MW3 but COD4 & 5 I keep getting PB kicked for no packet flow I have redone the PB patches but I am thinking that it might be it is blocking PB. If someone could let me know how to set the firewall to allow PB to run it would be great.

Stormy my dear, Win10 isn't that bad, it's just Win8.1 merged with the best of Win7.

I'm planning a clean install (non-Win 7/8.1 upgrade) on a brand new SSD of Win 10 Pro, keeping my Win 7 Enterprise installation safe. If I like it and everything works fine, I'm sticking to it, if not.... Win 7 will be with me for a long long time. :)

I still prefer Windows 7 over Window hate, or Windows hate.1

I've still to install Windows 10 (free crappy version) on a test computer I have.

If it goes well, like NOS, I will be getting Windows 10 Pro for a new build.

Will you be putting it on your gaming rig Nos? If so, let me know how it goes.

Yep 5niper, that's my fastest PC I've got. I remove the Win 7 disk and replace it with a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB. If it's not working as I like it to be -> Win 7 disk back in.

I did install Win 10 on a VMWare 'PC' @work, that box is even BIGGER then my PC @home.. Bloody fast Core i7, bunch of SSD's, 32GB (!!!) RAM, a real powerhouse. My first impression ? Win 10 UI is not for me but might get used to it.

Same with Server 2008R2 and Server 2012R2, I prefer 2008R2 any day but the extras 2012R2 has 'force' me to use it. 8) My @home server will be upgraded to 2012R2 also, hardware (more memory, second SSD) has allready be installed.

Many people have issues with the upgrade Storm. Did you have it registered in your M$ account ? Then you can do a proper clean install as the key needed is stored into your account. But Win 7 is still a very good OS, stick with it if it suits you.

Me, I upgraded from Win 2000 Pro to XP AFTER SR1 came out, before that.....cr@p. Vista ? I admit using it @work but only because I needed a 64bit OS for running VM's; could only run 2, maybe 3 with hurdles on XP (max 4GB memory limit *sigh*)but easy 6 without issues on Vista64. Also have tried XP64 but please.... stay away from that version as far as possible. Ditched Vista the moment Win 7x64 came out. Oh, and Parallels on my 27" iMac took over the VM's, what a great program that is.

For those who do upgrade but still like a Start Menu, classic shell has been updated and is now fully Win 10 compatible. http://www.classicshell.net/

Got it installed on my test PC and it won't be removed.

First impressions Win 7-Win 10: I stick with 7.
